Red enemies will leave a power capsule that you can use to upgrade your ship. The gameplay is simple, shoot as many bad guys as you can by using the A button. I like the Gradius family of games, but boy was I getting frustrated while playing this! You’re piloting the Warp Rattler in an attempt to save planet Gradius from the amoeboid Bacterians. well, if you do this right you should not get far enough to get to the yellow things, because this is done on the other side of the arrow thing than the yellow opening thins.Konami has joined in the NES development sphere with their release of Gradius on NES. At the part at the end when you're doing the drastic incline, when you get to the very bottom, there weill be and almost arrow looking shape right before the three yellow opening things.
Well, now you understand that, to the secret. Level 7, secret 5: This level simply sucks, it's fast, has stupid traps, and is hard, and getting to the secret level is no slice of pie either, and beating the secret level should only be done if someone really hates this boss, or wants a higher score, and much more lifes, and i mean MUCH MORE. There is no need for this level, it just has to do with the hundreds number in your score, i believe it has to be a 3, 5, 7, or 9, it's farely easy to get accomplished. this secret level also shares the charecteristic of level 4, and secret 3 and 4 in which that you can keep going up or down. Right before you go into the VERY TIGHT PASSAGE LEADING TO THE DOUBLEHEADED FIRE DRAGON, there well be an upside down mountain thingy, and it gows up and there is flat ceiling again, run into that. Well, since this level is so short, you will get to this location farely quickly. Most People don't know that, But it's true. This level shares a characteristic, and no it's not the dragons, it's that in sometimes you can run into the ceiling and floor. Level 5, Secret 4: This is the fire level, farely simple level, not to hard to do this one. You need to have no highlited squares at the bottom to do this one. run into the lower back of this sculpture. Pay attention to this one, it will rise up after a little bit, but will not turn to shoot you. go to the one that has the sculpture laying down on it's back. DO NOT GO TO THE ONE WITH THE SILVER DUDE. when you get to the second platforms (the ones before the rotating block heads) there's two possible paths you can take, the easy way to remember which one is correct and which one is not, is one will have a little silver turret dude in the middle and one does not. now when they turn red, you only have to worry about the first two platforms. When you go to that platform where there's two turrets, a big thing that shoots out those flying guys, and i believe 1 easter island sculpture, this is right before the easter island sculptures turn red. Now, the area you RUN INTO is after the Easter Egg sculptures turn red, and start turning and all that good stuff. Level 4, Secret 3: This is the Easter Island level. To get this secret level, you must kill every turret and enemy on the ground, before you get to this area. The level well dissolve, and you will be in not only a side scrolling level, but one like level 4, or Easter Island. Level 3, Secret 2: When you get right before the dirt, mud, sand, or whatever it is with the rocks in it, platform will fall with three turret guys on it, well, they fall from the red rock(this is after you go lower with the turrets on both sides), run into where the platform fell from. There is nothing needed to get to this level. Well, they come from two portals, one from above, and one from below, if you actually run into the portal below, when a guy isn't there, the level dissolves, and you are now in the secret level. Note: When taking the secret levels, you completely skip the bosses, with exception of level 7, you skip the actual level boss, but not the mayors on parade Level 2, Secret 1: When you get to the part right before the bubble boss, you will get these machanical crab dudes going after you. All Secret Levels Strangely, there are only secret levels on levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7, do not ask why, i do not know why 1, 6, 8, and 9 were skipped.
